The Breda Balloon Fiesta

The Breda Balloon Fiesta is this weekend. We will probably go, since we will not be sailing. Somehow this event has made me realize: I have been here for a whole year.

This makes no sense, I have been here for fourteen months. But we went to the Breda Balloon Festival last year. And now here it is again. I have no idea whay this seems so significant all at once. But there you are; the Breda Balloon Festival as a marker of time.

I have even rarer luck - my 10th wedding anniversary is the day after when we arrived in the UK. How wierd is that for a counting tool? Now if I could just align the anniversaries of everything else...

Missed you...the blog...thought I had a problem with my browser for a bit!

Hi, Christi,

Very pleased about the tour, though I can't figure out how you got hired as a Cigarette Smoking Man -- did you cut your hair?

lol

Are you looking forward to it?

I may have to put up something about the whole vaccine thingie, my father has I think been won over to the "What the heck were they thinking" side and it might be fun to chat about.

How's that guy you let hang around, anyway? >waving<, Hi, Eric.

J9,

LOL!!! I shall have to tell my actors & techs that I am Cigarette Smoking Man in disguise...I'm looking forward to the theatre part, just wish it were on this side of the pond.

'That Guy' sells houses for his summer job...wierd how good he is at selling expensive things and how much he hates it. He got some ($) to teach next year, so he's looking forward to it...

Can't believe you lost a camera - I imagine it is tucked away somewhere very safe...we are good at that.

You know, Christi, that is just what I said. I could lose a check, I could lose any number of things. But I am certain that I did not lose a camera.

However, there are a lot of places on a boat to stash things, and a camera is not very big. It was in the same place as the binoculars and the compass, of course. With the equipment, that is. As opposed to where Paul was looking, which was with the books and the toys and so on. You know, the entertainment material.

Silly man.

There is something just beyond delectable about your spouse selling real estate. Though you hardly need say he is good at it. Or that he hates it either, come to think of it. Selling real estate is for people who love money mroe than they hate sin. Oh, sorry, that's prostitution.

Would you believe I was talking to someone here the other day who wants to start a musical group doing english christmas carols for parties and so on? Would you further believe that this conversation started because her current business needs to hire people to do tarot reading and aura photographing and so on for the new age crowd at parties and that kind of thing?

Is this my life or a really very strange script anyway?
